There is a young bloke listing all the vacant properties in the colony's cities and directing the homeless how to squat them, squatting is still legal here, at least on paper. The outrage and condemnation being thrown at this guy by the propertied class is next level, proving that rich peoples property has more rights than poor peoples lives under capitalism. This is also propaganda by the deed and divides us between support of life v state. Unfortunately he is also running for parliament under a socialist alliance party but hey, no one is perfect. Purplepingers is his SM handle.
His latest "outrage" was using google maps to pinpoint vacant properties and there are so many in a so called housing crisis.
I've seen a number of YouTube anarchists etc denouncing PbtD, but I've just never really found much merit in the argument against it. It always sorta feels like when folks shout at protestors that inconveniencing people "isn't how you convince people to be sympathetic the movement." Yeah... that's not the objective.
The image was from Harper's Weekly originally. No idea who colored it.
"The first image, from the Harper's Weekly of May 15, 1886, shows Samuel Fielden haranguing the crowd in front of the Crane Brothers factory as the riot breaks out. It is the work of Thure de Thulstrop, one of the magazine's most prolific illustrators."
Interesting that you refer to the 2020 Black Lives Matter mayhem whilst the "global north" world was in the totalitarian grip of Convid policies with the State enforcing the most ludicrous number of regulations.
The police routinely attacked anti-Lockdown protestors and fined them for various infringements... certainly in the UK. On the other hand, the BLM protests were left to march in their thousands, with strategically dropped off piles of bricks in convenient locations.
There's an opportunity that's being missed by anarchists who are well versed in "propaganda by the deed" and those who are perceived to be more on the right who refused to go along with ridiculous and unscientific top down health dictats.
The State has successfully divided the population to such an extent that the so called left and centrists do not see the attacks on farming and biology as attacks but rather necessary to protect the planet from 1) climate change and 2) protecting a tiny minority who are allegedly
persecuted and marginalised.
No doubt I will be pilloried here but that's the truth.

This middle -aged, white, cishet woman was amazed to discover how so not alone she was in rejoicing over this assassination. More! More!
The second image looks to have been made by Thure de Thulstrup, though it might be a colorized version of the original, I’m unsure.

Amazing, thanks so much for this research!

I fucking love Luigi Mangione. I hadn't been so excited by an individual fucking the system since Edward Snowden, truly.
